What to know about 10-minute mail

Ten-minute mail describes an inbox intended for a brief task. The exact duration on TempMails is set by the service administrator; the countdown above your address is the authoritative expiry time.
Make the countdown work for you
Copy the address before starting a signup. Keep this page open while the message arrives. If you need longer, use Extend time before the deadline. Extensions have a maximum lifetime and may not always be available.
Late mail has nowhere to go
An email arriving after expiry is rejected even if the cleanup job has not yet run. Creating another address does not recover the old one. Try requesting the message again while your inbox is active.
Choose an appropriate task
A short inbox is useful for checking a test email or accessing a one-time resource. It is unsuitable for booking confirmations, billing records, or accounts requiring future verification.

No. Check the visible countdown. The service can be configured for ten minutes, an hour, or another supported duration.
Does refreshing add more time?
No. Refresh checks for messages. Use Extend time to request an extension.
