Acceptable use policy
Use temporary email responsibly and report misuse.
Permitted purposes
Use the service for lawful, non-sensitive, short-lived communication, including testing email workflows you own or receiving a resource where temporary addresses are permitted.
Prohibited activity
Do not use TempMails for fraud, phishing, harassment, malware, impersonation, credential theft, unsolicited bulk messaging, or evasion of another service’s safeguards. Do not automate mass account creation or attempt to defeat rate limits and security challenges.
Reporting and response
Use Report abuse on a message to send a report to the moderation team. Reports include a message reference and your explanation. Moderators can block senders, suspend inboxes, and resolve reports.
Protect yourself
Do not send sensitive documents to disposable addresses or use them for banking and password recovery. Suspicious links and attachments remain risky even when mail is displayed safely.
Common questions
Can I automate large numbers of inboxes?
No. Address creation is rate-limited and may require a security challenge. Bypassing those safeguards violates this policy.
