Privacy policy

How TempMails handles temporary messages, access credentials, and limited operational data.

Information processed

TempMails stores your temporary address, received messages, permitted attachments, creation and expiry times, and hashed access credentials. A private browser cookie enables access. A pseudonymous device cookie and keyed IP hash support abuse prevention. These identifiers are not used for advertising.

Purpose and retention

Message contents are processed solely to deliver the inbox service. They are not used for profiling, advertising, or analytics. Expired inboxes become inaccessible immediately and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Operational and audit records follow the administrator’s retention setting. One-way address tombstones remain to prevent address reuse.

Infrastructure providers

The configured hosting, database, email routing, queue, and security providers process data to operate the service. Their infrastructure logs and backups may have separate retention periods. Raw mail in the delivery spool is deleted after processing and covered by a one-day storage lifecycle.

Your choices

You can delete your inbox or individual messages at any time. Clearing your cookies removes browser access. Keep your recovery token private. Remote images are blocked unless you load them.

Contact

Use the operator contact shown in the footer for privacy requests. The service operator must publish their identity, contact details, applicable jurisdiction, and processor information before public launch.
